Musigon
This is my first attempt at prototyping a rhythm game. I took great inspiration from the way Crypt of the NecroDancer controls and wanted to make a game with a bigger focus on different level types rather than being mostly combat focused (not to say there will never be any combat in this game).
Notes regarding the audio offset: At the start of each level, you will be given the option to adjust your audio offset. Adjusting this properly with synchronize the music with the flashing border around the screen. The easiest way to do this is to set your offset to 0 and start the level. Then press your movement keys a few times to the beat of the music while watching the numbers at the bottom of the screen(even if the beat doesn't match the border flash). Take the average of a couple of those numbers and multiply it by -1. That's your offset value. Press TAB to reset the level and go back to the offset adjust screen and adjust it to your value.
It might take a few tries, but this is essentially how it works. A more intuitive calibration system is in the works.
(Another note: I don't quite know what's going on with the aspect ratio of the game window, but you have to make it full-screen to play it for now.)
